Learn how to permanently delete your Pawddy account and associated personal data.

Before you delete your account

Deleting your Pawddy account permanently removes your profile, your pets, all vet visit recordings, AI summaries, reminders, and related personal data. This action cannot be undone. If you'd like to keep your history, export it from the app before requesting deletion.

How to delete your account

You can delete your account directly from the Pawddy mobile app:

Open the Pawddy app on your device.
Go to Settings → Account.
Tap Delete Account and confirm.

If you no longer have access to the app, email us at support@pawddy.app from the address linked to your account and we'll process your deletion request within 30 days.

What will be deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

Your profile and account credentials.
All pet profiles and health records.
Vet visit audio recordings and transcripts.
AI-generated summaries, notes, and reminders.
Push notification tokens and device identifiers linked to your account.

Data retention

Audio recordings are automatically deleted from our systems within 7 days of processing. After account deletion:

Personal data is removed from our production database immediately.
Encrypted backups are purged within 30 days.
We may retain limited records (e.g. invoices, fraud-prevention logs) only where required by law.

Subscription information

Deleting your Pawddy account does not automatically cancel an active Premium subscription. Subscriptions are managed by the App Store or Google Play:

iOS: cancel from Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Android: cancel from Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions.

Please cancel any active subscription before deleting your account to avoid further charges.
