Terms of Use

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Pawddy mobile application ("App" or "Service"), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App or related services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and Kostiantyn Yevlakov doing business as Pawddy, a sole proprietor registered in Poland.

You must be at least:

• 13 years old globally,
• or 16 years old within the EEA where applicable,

to use Pawddy.

If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must obtain permission from a parent or legal guardian before using the App.

By using Pawddy, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that do not satisfy eligibility requirements.

AI-generated transcriptions, summaries, translations, reminders, and insights are not medical records and may contain:

• inaccuracies,
• omissions,
• mistranslations,
• hallucinations,
• or incomplete information.

You must not rely solely on AI-generated content when making decisions regarding your pet's health or treatment.

Always consult a licensed veterinarian regarding all medical or health-related matters concerning your pet.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Pawddy disclaims liability for injury, illness, or other adverse outcomes related to reliance on content generated by the App.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.

You are solely responsible for:

• maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials,
• all activities conducted under your account,
• and securing access to your devices.

You must notify us immediately at support@pawddy.app if you become aware of unauthorized account access or suspicious activity.

We are not responsible for losses resulting from your failure to maintain account security.

5.1 Free Plan

The free version of Pawddy may include limited access to features such as:

• pet profiles,
• AI-transcribed recordings,
• reminders,
• notes,
• document storage,
• and basic tracking tools.

Feature limits may change over time.

5.2 Premium Plan

Premium subscriptions may unlock features such as:

• multiple pet profiles,
• unlimited recordings,
• enhanced AI functionality,
• AI translations,
• PDF exports,
• expanded reminders,
• advanced organization tools,
• and shared pet access features.

Premium features may evolve or change over time.

5.3 Subscription and Billing

Premium subscriptions are processed exclusively through:

• Apple App Store,
• or Google Play.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current billing cycle.

You may manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.

Pawddy does not directly process payments and does not control refund decisions made by Apple or Google.

Where required by applicable law, users may retain statutory cancellation or refund rights.

We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable prior notice. Continued use after updated pricing becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised pricing.

By using Pawddy's voice recording feature, you represent and warrant that:

• you have obtained all legally required consents,
• your recordings comply with applicable law,
• and you have the legal right to record and process the content.

This includes recordings involving:

• veterinarians,
• clinic staff,
• family members,
• or other third parties.

You are solely responsible for determining whether recording is lawful in your jurisdiction.

We disclaim all liability arising from unlawful or unauthorized recordings made by users.

Voice recordings may be processed using third-party AI providers, including:

• Deepgram (speech-to-text transcription),
• OpenAI models (summaries, insights, and translations).

By using AI-related features, you consent to transmission and processing of relevant content through third-party AI providers.

We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated outputs.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue AI-related functionality at any time.

You agree to use Pawddy lawfully and responsibly.

You agree NOT to:

• upload unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or infringing content,
• attempt to reverse engineer or extract source code,
• access other users' data without authorization,
• bypass security protections,
• use automated bots, scraping tools, or crawlers,
• abuse or circumvent plan limitations,
• share account credentials improperly,
• upload content you do not legally own or control,
• interfere with system integrity or security,
• conduct unauthorized penetration testing,
• or use Pawddy for unauthorized commercial activity.

Violation of these Terms may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund.

Premium users may share pet profiles using temporary access invitations or group functionality.

Shared users may have limited permissions depending on feature settings.

As the pet profile owner, you are solely responsible for:

• granting access,
• managing permissions,
• and revoking invitations.

We are not responsible for actions taken by users you authorize to access shared pet profiles.

You retain ownership of all content and data you upload to Pawddy.

You grant Pawddy a limited, non-exclusive license to:

• store,
• process,
• display,
• and transmit your content

solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

You represent and warrant that:

• you own or control the rights to uploaded content,
• and your content does not violate applicable law or third-party rights.

Pawddy does not sell your content or use it for advertising purposes.

We strongly recommend maintaining independent backups of important veterinary records and health documents.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pawddy is not liable for loss of user data.

Pawddy, including its:

• software,
• branding,
• interface,
• design,
• graphics,
• logos,
• and source code,

is the intellectual property of Kostiantyn Yevlakov doing business as Pawddy.

You receive only a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the App in accordance with these Terms.

No ownership rights are transferred to you.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of Pawddy.

We may:

• temporarily suspend services,
• perform maintenance,
• modify features,
• restrict access,
• or discontinue functionality

where reasonably necessary.

We may discontinue the Service entirely with reasonable prior notice where possible.

We are not responsible for interruptions caused by:

• Supabase,
• Deepgram,
• OpenAI,
• Adapty,
• Firebase,
• Apple,
• Google,
• cloud providers,
• internet outages,
• or events outside our reasonable control.

We disclaim warranties including:

• merchantability,
• fitness for a particular purpose,
• non-infringement,
• accuracy,
• reliability,
• and continuous availability.

We do not guarantee:

• uninterrupted operation,
• error-free functionality,
• accurate AI-generated content,
• or uninterrupted access to third-party integrations.

Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed:

• the amount you paid for the Service during the 12 months preceding the claim,
• or EUR 50, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions may not allow certain liability limitations. In such cases, liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Kostiantyn Yevlakov doing business as Pawddy from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:

• your violation of these Terms,
• unlawful recordings,
• your uploaded content,
• your misuse of the App,
• your violation of applicable laws,
• or your reliance on AI-generated content.

By You

You may stop using Pawddy and delete your account at any time.

Deletion of subscriptions must be handled separately through Apple App Store or Google Play.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate accounts immediately if:

• these Terms are violated,
• unlawful activity is suspected,
• security risks arise,
• or abuse of the Service occurs.

No refunds are guaranteed in such cases unless required by law.

Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland.

Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts located in Warsaw, Poland.

If you are an EU consumer, you may retain rights under consumer protection laws of your country of residence.

If you downloaded Pawddy via Apple App Store:

• Apple is not responsible for maintenance or support,
• Apple is not responsible for claims relating to the App,
• Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms.

If downloaded via Google Play:

• Google has no responsibility regarding support, warranties, or claims related to Pawddy.

Platform-specific terms may also apply.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain fully effective.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Pawddy regarding use of the Service.

Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute waiver of rights.

We may update these Terms periodically.

For material changes, we may provide notice through:

• email,
• in-app notifications,
• or website notices.

Continued use of Pawddy after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Service.
